Dreams are full of symbols. The ocean is death, rivers the passage of time. Maybe. Everybody interprets their dreams differently. Students can’t be wrong in the connections they make, the ocean is friendship, though they may need help explaining how they make that connection. That’s what we are here for.

Looking forward and back also requires a lot of if-then and what-if thinking. And grammar. So be ready.
