Usage Check
The Nitty Gritty is the OG. It is what we are used to and what we expect. Without it people feel like they haven’t learned anything, but this is not learning English so much as polishing it. Native speakers need The Nitty Gritty as much as everybody else. Not because they don’t speak English, but because nobody speaks English that well and everybody makes mistakes. Our students will make even more mistakes, but they are making their mistakes in English because they are speaking English.
